Catching up on Blogging

It has been quite a while since I last updated my blog. We've had a lot going on: Delaney's 1st Birthday, Christmas, and Noah started Primary & Soccer. I did some posts to get all caught up. Some of it may be boring, but I wanted to get on here since this is pretty much my journal!

Soccer

Noah started soccer this week! He has practice on Wednesdays and his games are Saturday mornings. He was really excited to play! here are some pictures from his first practice!

Here are some pictures from his first game! It's quite hilarious watching a bunch of 3 year old kids try to play soccer. The other team was pretty good and seemed to know that the point of the game is to kick the ball into the net. Our coach failed to go over that in the first practice so our kids were all over the place. It was still a lot of fun to watch and Noah scored the only 2 goals for our team. He was very proud of himself!

Primary

Noah turned 3 in August so that means he starts Primary this year. I can't believe my baby boy is already in Sunbeams. He had a rough start in nursery, but primary has been a pretty easy transition for him. They had to combined Sunbeams with the CTR 4 class because there is only 2 Sunbeams. We've been talking a lot about reverence and how to act in class and his teacher tells me that he's doing pretty good! I got a picture of him before church on his first day as a Sunbeam!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year! I love being able to have time off of work to spend with my family. Noah was really into Santa this year and that was a lot of fun. He asked Santa for a Buzz Lightyear bike and he told Santa Delaney wanted some baby toys. They both had so much fun on Christmas morning opening presents and Delaney was a lot more into it than I thought she would be. Keith even got to take some time off of work due to the rain so it was nice to spend some extra family time together.

Delaney's 1st Birthday!

Delaney had her 1st birthday on December 19th! I can't believe she is already one and I also can't believe how much she has grown. When she was born she weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces and she was 18.5 inches long, she is now 18 pounds 15 ounces and she is 28.5 inches long. She is so independent and has a ton of energy. She says Dada, Mama, go, yeah, hi, & uh oh. She still isn't walking yet, but she's getting pretty close! She LOVES to dance in the car and we love watching her dance. She brings such a sweet spirit into our home and we are so happy that she is a part of our family. I put together a slide show of pictures from her 1st year! It so much fun to look back and she see how much has changed!
