Now she's even cuter!

Well, I didn't think it was possible for Delaney to be any cuter than she already was, but I guess I was wrong. On Saturday I took her to get her ears pierced and she looks so stinkin' cute! She actually did really well, she only cried for about a minute.

Weekend Fun!

On Saturday Keith had to work and I wanted Noah to have something fun to do because I knew he would miss his Daddy. I found this cute craft activity online, you use the bottom of a cardboard egg carton to make a Caterpillar (or as Jordyn calls it a patekiller, or as Noah calls it a catefiller). Jordyn was over and they had a lot of fun painting together!

4 months!

Delaney is 4 months old and I can't believe it! She had her 4 month check up yesterday and she is now 11 pounds and 23 inches. The Dr said her head shape has improved tremendously so she won't need a cranial band! It's not perfect, but he said it will continue to get better. He also said that we can start her on rice cereal and once she is doing good with that the we can start giving her other baby food! Delaney can pretty much hold her bottle on her own now, she needs a little help sometimes, but she does pretty good on her own! She is also getting a lot more talkative, she likes to lay on her new play mat and just talk up a storm. She recognizes Keith and I when we come home from work now and is usually happy to see us. Now that she has had her shots I really want to get her ears pierced, but I just have to convince Keith, so maybe that will be my next post!
Noah is also doing really well! He loves to play outside now that the weather is nice and his new favorite game to play is T-Ball. He can actually hit the ball pretty good, I was very impressed! He's such a good big brother and he tries to be a good helper for me when Keith is at school. I love these two kids so much and I can't believe how fast they are growing!

Easter Weekend!

We had a really fun Easter weekend! On Saturday we did some shopping and then died Easter Eggs in the afternoon with Brandon. Brandon had fun putting the eggs in all the different colors, but Noah lost interest after his first egg! On Sunday we woke up and it actually took Noah a while before he realized that there were Easter buckets on the table with toys and candy. He was walking by the table and did a double take and then he stopped, put his hands on his hips, and said "Mom, what's that"! We watched General Conference and then Everyone came over for dinner and to have an Easter Egg hunt. Noah had a lot of fun finding eggs this year, the holidays get more and more fun as he gets older and can enjoy then more!

Happy Baby = Happy Mommy!

I know I have not really blogged very much about Delaney lately. She is doing good and growing fast! She is a pretty high maintenance baby, a lot more difficult and fussy than Noah was, so that has had me a little stressed lately. Today we went and got her a new toy hoping that it would help occupy her and make her a little happier and guess what? It worked!!! She loves her new toy and she played on it all evening. I'm hoping this is the start to a happier baby (and mommy)!

6 Years!

Today is our anniversary, I can't beleive we've married for 6 years! Keith is so good to me and I am so greatful to have him in my life. I don't know where I would be without him. We started dating in 9th grade (11 years ago), so we've been together for a long time and been through a lot together. I love him so much and I am greatful for all that he does for me. We have a wonderful life together and 2 amazing kids, Noah is 2 and Delaney is almost 3 months. He is an amazing husband & father, I couldn't have chosen a better man to be the father of my children. I love him so much and I look forward to see what adventures we have ahead of us!

Delaney's Blessing!

Today we had Delaney's blessing at church. It was a neat experience and a lot of our family was able to come and celebrate with us. We love our family and are so greatful for all the love and support that they show us.
